USA Pulses is a nonprofit organization that has been pushing for pulses in our food system since 1965.
Our work supports over 5,000 growers, processors, and exporters across the US, working from field to fork to strengthen the industry and highlight the value of pulses worldwide.

Pulses are an incredible tool in our mission to leave the world a better place than we found it.
By doubling both the consumption and production of US-grown pulse crops, we can promote healthier farming, healthier people, and a healthier planet. Where’s the downside in that?

What We’ve Done
Our yield
Our work has put USA pulses on the map. Dry peas, lentils, chickpeas and dry beans from the United States are now recognized worldwide for their taste, nutrition, and sustainability, earning them the “Standard of Quality” seal.
Thanks to our growers, processors, and support team, USA pulses have become a key part of the global food industry, driving increased global demand, and trends like the hummus boom.
